Our Trainers

Vakhtang Shurgaia
BV Consulting’s Managing Partner, Vakhtang Shurgaia, has graduated with a law degree from the Tbilisi State University. He also holds a Master's degree in Civil Law from the University of Georgia. Vakhtang Shurgaia possesses an extensive managerial experience of working in both state agencies and private companies. Vakhtang Shurgaia is a member of the Georgian Bar Association.

Liana Japaridze
Dr. Liana Japaridze, is of Counsel of our team, is a lecturer at the University of Sussex. Liana is the co-author of the first Georgian-language textbook on Competition Law. Liana received her education and professional training at the University of Oxford, UK (DPhil in Law 2022, MJur 2014), the European University Institute, Italy (Florence Program of Competition Law and Economics 2017), the Speyer University of Administrative Sciences, Germany, and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Georgia (Joint MA in Public Administration 2013, LLB 2010). She is a certified lawyer and a member of the Georgian Bar Association.

Beka Dotchviri
Head of the Legal Department of the National Bank. Graduated from the Law Faculty of Grigol Robakidze University. Beka Dotchviri's career in public service includes positions such as the Parliamentary Secretary of the Government of Georgia. He has also held the position of Head of Legal Departments in the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Economy of Georgia.

Aleko Natchkebia
The invited trainer of our team, Aleko Natchkebia, is a Master of Laws of Ilia University. He possesses an extensive managerial experience of working in both state agencies and private companies. Since 2013, as an invited lecturer, he has been leading lecture courses in various educational institutions, both in the field of civil and administrative law. Aleko Nachbiya is the author of a number of practical manuals published related to the decisions of the Supreme Court of Georgia.
